Celina Texas 3rd Annual Balloon Festival


The Celina Chamber of Commerce will hold its 3rd Annual Balloon Festival on Friday and Saturday, June 27 and 28th in "Old Celina Park" located at 12670 FM 428, east of SH 377. Admission and parking are free and there will be many vendors as wel as live music and entertainment. The main attraction will be the 20 hot air balloons. The festival will open at 6pm and there will be a balloon glow after dark.

Ah! The Sweet Sounds of Success!
Frisco, Texas now has a Music Conservatory of Texas (MCOT). Yes, a beautiful new building designed for teaching music, with already more than 500 students, is here! It does and can serve the outlying cities of Celina, Prosper and Little Elm.

The Music Conservatory of Texas has received many awards, as well as recognition of merit, over the years. Their main goal is to deliver exceptional music education for all ages and levels,
and both their students, as well as MCOT, have been mentioned in many news articles and publicity related items.

The Music Conservatory of Texas is located in the middle of Frisco at Main Street and Preston Road, and features 28 private and group teaching studios (six of the group studios morph into a 175 seat performance hall), a portable recording studio, a comfortable waiting room area with WiFi, and a professional registration area. The school is located in a brand new office park, with many restaurants and services close by.

The Frisco Cycling Club

Frisco Cycling Club is a community focused organization dedicated to the promotion of all aspects of cycling. A variety of cycling specialties are supported, to include road and track racing, commuting and recreational road and mountain biking. Dedication to encouraging the sport of bicycling and advocating for the rights of all cyclists are provided through legislation, education and support of local community events. Frisco Cycling Club membership is comprised of cycling enthusiasts of all ages with a wide range of abilities and interests. Furthermore, the members acknowledge a responsibility to share their sport, their experience, and their commitment as a group with the larger community in which we all live.

Frisco Family Fun Ride
July 26th 2008 Begins: 10:00AM, Ends: 2:00PM
The Frisco Family Fun Ride is like no other ride in the country. Our course is a 1/2 mile loop with aid stations so that riders of all levels can enjoy their bike and simply ride without the pressure of a preset distance or hundreds of dollars to raise.
